Our Work

The NAACP Huntington Branch works to advance equity, protect civil rights, and strengthen our community across Huntington and the greater Long Island region. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we address issues that directly impact the lives of Black residents and other marginalized communities.

Local Action.
National Purpose.

The NAACP Huntington Branch is connected to the broader NAACP movement working nationwide to advance civil rights and equality.

We are committed to advancing justice, equity, and opportunity through local advocacy, community leadership, and sustained action that strengthens Huntington and the communities we serve.

Our Committees

Our efforts focus on promoting fair treatment in education, housing, employment, public safety, and civic participation. We collaborate with local leaders, organizations, and residents to confront injustice, elevate community voices, and push for meaningful, lasting change.
